Update: I added the different dynamics to the second instrument.

I have added a clarinet with the flute. I used a few things the same but not so much as copy it. I think it was a good mixture.

My 1 minute melody

I used ABABC. I wanted some repetition. I didn't want it completely repeated. I wanted some mix in it. The tempo I used was actually the same I started out with. I didn't want to make my song too short or too long. For the next person to do this I would tell them to try to make the tempo slower if they don't like the work.

My 16 bar melody bass line

The title is called 16 baws fow u because it is a little funny. I chose this bass instrument because it actually goes well with my melody. I chose this rhythm because it was my 16 bar melody.

Adding a drum set pattern

This is a drum set add on to my 16 bar melody. My drum set pattern was merely thought up by what would make my music sound better.

I have chosen through-compose. I chose it because I was able to do my own format of music.The hardest part was trying to find out my melody. I honestly couldn't think of the notes I wanted in my melody.What I had       enjoyed the most was actually using more notes to make the melody longer. To another person that will do this I would say to just try to make your own music.

The chord is any group of three or more notes played together. They are basically either all played at once or simultaneously. You can use chords many ways but you can only try to use them effectively. They will help make sure your song sounds better than what they already did before. My first 8 bars

I honestly have put this together myself. The hardest part to me was actually making the composition. What I enjoyed most was basically writing a short melody. I also liked naming it on the block I live on.

Composer Study 1

The name of the song is "Reptilia". In this song there are a variety of instruments. There is an electric guitar, a bass guitar, and a drum set. I will call this punk rock. The composer of this song is Julian Casablancas. Three songs I have never known he wrote were "what ever happened?" and "Automatic Stop".They also have a new album out now but was released in 2011. Its called angles. The Strokes Listen to Angles Right Here | The Strokes This is also where I got my information. This band has some really awesome songs you should check them out.
